The Seoul Metropolitan Council has reported a coronavirus infection among its employees.
According to the council, a senior committee official tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.
All staff members have been sent home and the assembly hall shut down.
Health authorities said they will test everyone who works on the same floor as the committee member at the city council building.
