The top diplomats of South Korea and the United States are set to sit down for talks on Monday in the United Kingdom to discuss the situation on the Korean Peninsula, among other issues.
According to Seoul's foreign ministry, Minister Chung Eui-yong will hold his second face-to-face meeting with Secretary of State Antony Blinken at 6:30 p.m. Korea time.
They are in London to attend the G7 ministerial session ahead of a leaders' summit in June.
Other agenda items include preparations for a summit between Presidents Moon Jae-in and Joe Biden later this month, North Korea's nuclear weapons and bilateral cooperation on COVID-19 vaccines.
Chung and Blinken's meeting comes after Pyongyang said Biden made a "big blunder" after he called the regime's nuclear program a serious threat.
On Sunday, senior North Korean foreign ministry official Kwon Jong-gun warned the U.S. will face a "worse and worse crisis beyond control."
He was referring to Biden's remarks during his first congressional address last week that Washington will work with allies to address "serious threats" from the North through diplomacy and stern deterrence.
