The annual Boryeong Mud Festival in South Chungcheong Province will be held both online and offline this summer as the coronavirus continues to pose public health risks.
The event was held entirely online last July amid surging infections.
Organizers said this year's hybrid festival will be scheduled for some time between July and August.
A detailed schedule and list of programs is expected to be announced according to the COVID-19 situation in the country.
Boryeong Mayor Kim Dong-il said his city hopes to attract many visitors to energize them amid the pandemic.
